2001 Horry Countywide District Survey
- Periodically, the Horry County Planning Department sends out surveys to residents for feedback on local
issues and services. The purpose of the 2001 Horry Countywide District Survey was to receive public input and
support in updating the Horry County Community Facilities Element of the 1999 Horry County Comprehensive Plan.
Over 10,480 participants were chosen randomly from the Horry County Voter Registration rolls, which resulted in
an even percentage of people chosen per County Council District.
