The Planning Department application
process consists of four steps

| Step One: |
Submittal deadline: The submittal deadline
is at 12:00 Noon on the day of submittal. All submittals shall be made to the Planning Department.

| Step Two: |
Utility Coordination Committee (UCC) Meeting:
Land Development submittals are reviewed by the UCC. The UCC is comprised of utility and county staff and
provides technical review and assistance on development proposals. The comments and recommendations of the
UCC generally need to be address prior to a proposed development receiving approval.

| Step Three: |
Zoning Committee and TRC meeting: The
Zoning Committee reviews all requests for the rezoning of property for consistency with the Comprehensive
Plan and surrounding land uses. Rezoning applicants are encouraged to attend the meeting to provide information
to the Zoning Committee members.
The TRC reviews all proposed developments for consistency with the Land Development Regulations.
The TRC members may request that a develop make changes to a proposed development plan to address concerns
raised at the TRC meeting. Developers or their agents are encouraged to attend the meeting to provide the
TRC information relevant to their development proposals.

| Step Four: |
Planning Commission meeting: The Planning Commission
meets monthly to discuss and make recommendations on rezoning and land development requests. Rezoning requests
are forwarded to the County Council for final approval or denial. Land development proposals are granted either
conditional approval or approval on the night of the Planning Commission meeting.
