• The office of Grants Administration located in the Finance Department actively seeks available grant funding and provides administrative and financial oversight for County grant activities. This Department also assists in designing Grant Applications to improve neighborhoods and disadvantaged areas.

• Do we provide Funding for School Grants? No. Please contact the Financial Aid Office at the School you are planning to attend.
  
  
• Do we provide assistance for housing? No. Please call the USDA/Rural Development Agency at (843) 365-8732 or Waccamaw Council of Governments at (843) 546-8582
  
  
• Do we provide any individual or personal grants? NO. Our Grants Department does not write grants for individual or small businesses.
  
  
• Where can I find available grants or Foundations that have available funding? Your local Libraries provide a list of Foundations that offer funding opportunities and also www.grants.gov website will provide a listing of Federal Grants that are available.
  
  
• Do we provide any assistance with for Electric bills, home improvements for low-income citizens? NO. Please check with the Waccamaw Economic Opportunity Council, Inc at (843) 234-4100.
