How would I obtain certain documentation from various departments in the County?

You would have to fill out a Freedom of Information Act Request Form which requires your name, address, business name (if applicable), phone number and documentation requested. The County has 15 business days to respond to your request.

How would I obtain a Freedom of Information Act Request Form?

You can download the form off of our website or you can call 843-915-5390 and one can be faxed to you. Forms are also located in our Public Information Office located on the second floor of the NEW Government and Justice Center (1301 Second Ave) in Conway, South Carolina.

Horry County Information Line

A 24-hour a day automated service providing customers with recorded information about community programs, services, and resources. This information is also web enabled and can be accessed through our website.

Monthly Employee Blood Drives

Horry County employees are a huge part of blood donations collected in the county, averaging over 900 blood units collected annually. Horry County schedules blood drives in various county complexes throughout the year.

Horry County Speaker's Bureau

A catalogue of topics that can be presented to school groups, civic and private organizations, homeowner's associations, etc. Allow us to help you plan an interesting, educational, and informative program by including a Horry County speaker.

Government Access Channel

A 24-hour television channel, provided by Horry Telephone Cooperative (Channel 14), which features information on County events, meeting schedules, animals available for adoption, and much more.
