If you are having problems with any of the Gateway applications please try the following:

DNS error:
The "Real Property" and "Register of Deeds" applications run on port 8080. If you use a firewall to connect to the Internet it must be configured so that outgoing requests to port 8080 are not blocked.

Test your Java configuration:
The "Real Property" and "Register of Deeds" applications are running Java. If you are having problems with them test your Java configuration.

Disable Pop-up Blockers:
Many of our applications use pop-ups. If you are using a pop-up blocker, to block unwanted pop-up windows from appearing, you may wish to temporarily disable it. Clear you cache:
Since many of our pages are updated regularly, you should clear you cache or history occasionally to make sure that you are viewing the most current pages.

Enable ActiveX:
If you are having trouble installing the Deja-Vu plugin, for viewing the scanned tax and FEMA flood maps, make sure you have ActiveX enabled in your browser.

Printing with the GIS Mapping application:
When printing from the map application, two sets of data are returned: parcel attribute data (text) and a map. When you click the Print button, enter a title for your map and then click "Create Print Page". A new browser window will appear with a map layout. A windows print dialog box then opens, click "OK" to print the text data. The map layout is now in the background; look on your taskbar and bring it to the front of all the other windows to complete the printing process.
