Important Notice to all
Persons/Business Owners/Property Owners
Within the unincorporated area of Horry County

Please be advised that the Horry County Zoning Ordinance Article V, Section 527 of the Landscape/Buffer/Tree Ordinance requires that any person developing or redeveloping along U.S. Highways, State Highway and County Highways listed below must contact the Horry County Zoning Department before ditching, clearing, excavating or grading; or planting, cutting, trimming, pruning, removing or otherwise modifying trees. Also, persons developing or redeveloping within the entire unincorporated area of Horry County may be required to obtain land disturbance permits through the Horry County Stormwater Department.
