As a bonus, Horry County government employees will receive four hours of vacation time for each successful donation. To speed up the donation process and properly staff the blood drives, Horry County employees are required to schedule an appointment prior to giving blood. Sign up sheets are circulated in each department by the on-site coordinators. Employees with a scheduled appointment will be processed first. For employees to receive their four hours of vacation, they must go to an Horry County designated blood drive location (see list below), and must have donated a full, productive unit of blood. Employees should also be sure to record their name, department and Employee ID number on the sign-out sheet so that hours earned are alotted correctly.
