The
American Red Cross
has created a new and convenient way to sign up for County blood drives, using the
 system.
This online application will allow you, the donor, to make appointments at any County sponsored drive,
change or cancel your appointments and find out about any donor special events. The system will even
generate e-mails to remind you about your appointments! Best of all the system is quick and quite
easy to use!
Register
now and begin scheduling your appointments for any County sponsored drive today!
HOW TO
- Go to
https://www.givelife.org/index.cfm?group=registration&hlc=Horry&pos=1.
The site should be unblocked but if you get the Content Blocked By Your Organization page just click the Continue for work purposes button.
You may want to bookmark this site if you are a frequent donor. Once you shut your computer down and reboot, this message should no longer display.
- At the www.givelife.org main screen, click on First-time users create a profile.
- You will be required to enter your first & last name, date of birth, zip code,
e-mail address (use your County e-mail), and a password. If you would like,
you can enter the additionally requested information but it is not required.
- When you hit submit, you should be taken to a listing of all the available County
drives. If not, exit out and click the link in #1 again. Enter your e-mail address
and your password. In the search box, enter our location code Horry and it will take
you to the County sponsored drive list.
- Pick a drive you'd like to sign up for and just click on the location link.
- Then you can choose an appointment time and set your appointment.
- The system will generate a reminder e-mail several days prior to the drive.
If you've already made your appointment with Jennifer, you may still want to go in and register
and she has already entered many of the appointments into the system.
Eventually, all appointments will be made on the eDonor site.
