Office Hours
8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. [Monday through Friday]
For your convenience, the office is open during lunch.

If you need to visit:
  • Estate Division - please come to office no later than 4:15 p.m. to allow proper time and assistance to open an estate.
  • Guardian/Conservator Division - please arrive at office no later than 4:30 p.m. to allow proper time and assistance to open a guardianship and/or conservatorship.
  • Commitments - please arrive at office no later than 4:00 for emergency pick up orders, as paperwork must be delivered to the Horry County Police Department before 5:00 p.m. If you have paperwork for judicial proceedings please arrive prior to 4:45 p.m. to obtain date for hearing.
  • Marriage Licenses - office hours for obtaining a marriage license and/or performing a ceremony are 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. , Monday through Friday.
