Obtaining Police Records and Reports

Police records and reports maintained by the Horry County Police Department are by law accessible to the public. Available reports may include criminal reports, missing person reports, police records, and warrants. You can go directly to the Police Department if these reports are on yourself or someone you have power of attorney for. You will need to present a picture ID, such as a valid driver's license, military ID, or passport. A nominal processing fee is required for each request.

If the requested reports are on someone else, you will need to call or visit the Horry County Public Information Office and complete a request for information form.

For more information, contact either the Police Department, located at 2560 Main Street in Conway, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or call them at (843) 915-5350. Or contact the Public Information Office at (843) 915-5390.
