Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - The holiday season brings a large volume of people in and out of the Myrtle Beach area and we are asking that all of our passenger’s and guests please allow extra time for traveling. We have also opened up our overflow parking areas to accommodate our passenger’s needs. There will not be any additional charges and the price will remain the same if passengers use the overflow parking areas.

Conway, South Carolina-The suspect arrested by the Horry County Police Department in connection with a deadly shooting over the weekend has been formally charged.
On November 23rd, 2013 at approximately 8:30, Officers with the Horry County Police Department responded to the intersection of Hwy. 701 and Hwy. 22 in the Conway section of Horry County in reference to a shooting. Upon their arrival, they learned that the driver of a vehicle had been shot while operating his vehicle. Detectives with the Horry County Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and an investigation was initiated.
Detectives learned that prior to the shooting; a drug transaction took place between the victim and the suspect where the money used in the transaction was counterfeit. As a result the suspect began following the victim until the intersection of Hwy. 701 and Hwy. 22 where multiple shots were fired. The victim was struck at that time. A second victim fled the car without injury and ran to safety.
As a result of the investigation, Detectives were able to identify the suspect involved in the incident. At approximately 5:45am on November 24th, the suspect was taken into custody by the Horry County Police Department a short distance from his home in Little River.
In addition, the second victim was taken into custody in connection with his involvement in the counterfeit bills.
Arrested:
Christopher Evon Smith (30 YOA B/M) DOB: 03-29-83. He resides in the Little River section of Horry County. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charge: Murder
Aaron Lee Campbell (40 YOA W/M) DOB: 09-14-73. He resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is currently in custody at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Charge: Forgery less than $10,000
