Community Development Block Grant Workshops & Deadline Announced

CONWAY, SC– The Horry County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Office has announced that the deadline for filing CDBG sub-recipient agency applications for the 2014 cycle will be February 7, 2014, by 2 p.m. The application and application instructions can be found HERE.

The funding is provided through a federal block grant program to assist in developing a viable urban community by expanding opportunities for decent housing, suitable living environments and needed public services. The projects must provide a benefit for low- to-moderate income citizens and/or address areas of slum/blight.
