Conway, South Carolina – All Horry County offices, other than public safety operations, will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2017, in observance of New Year’s Day. Regular courts may be in operation in the Horry County Government & Justice Center and all jurors, witnesses, etc. will be required to be present.

Conway, South Carolina –The Horry County Animal Care Center wants to give all homeless pets in the shelter the best gift of all this Christmas, a Home for the Holidays! From now until December 22, 2016, all adoption fees have been slashed to just $20! Available pets have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, felines have been tested for FELV/FIV and canines over six months have been tested for heartworms. Also, all pets have been microchipped and are on flea and heartworm prevention.
