On December 6, 2019 in Closings
All Horry County offices, other than public safety operations, will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, Thursday, December 26, 2019, and Friday, December 27, 2019, in observance of Christmas. Regular courts may be in operation in the Horry County Government & Justice Center and all jurors, witnesses, etc. will be required to be present.

On December 6, 2019 in Animal Care Center
The Horry County Animal Care Center (HCACC) will hold a vaccination clinic, 10 December 2019, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the shelter located at 1923 Industrial Park Road in Conway. The following services will be offered:
Dogs and cats are both welcome; dogs must be on a hand-held leash and cats must be in a pet carrier.
The Animal Care Center also holds low-cost spay/neuter clinics, which are open to all residents of Horry County. The cost for cats is $50 and dogs are $80 (discounted fees are available for residents receiving government assistance). Contact the HCACC for more information or to make an appointment.

On December 5, 2019 in Emergencies
Conway, South Carolina (December 5, 2019)—Horry County Assessor's Office reminds residents that had not repaired their homes of flood or storm damage as of December 31, 2018, can still report that damage. Residents have until January 15, 2020, to do so.
To report damage, residents can go to the Assessor's Office page on www.horrycounty.org and fill out the 2019 Real Property Appeal Form, checking the box for storm damage.
