Horry County will conduct aerial mosquito spraying on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in the Nichols area of Horry County with a make up day scheduled for Monday, October 18, 2021 if needed.
The area includes MW Stroud Road, Creek Landing Road, Jarrott Drive, and Worley Lane.

The chemicals used for mosquito control spraying are approved by the EPA and pose minimal risk to humans or animals. In addition, homegrown fruits and vegetables should be washed, scrubbed, and/or peeled before eating.
