Conway, South Carolina (April 30, 2020) – Due to the impacts of COVID-19 in our area, the deadline for business personal property taxes has been extended to June 1, 2020. At the request of Horry County Government, the South Carolina Department of Revenue granted this extension for taxpayers filing a tax year 2020 business personal property return with Horry County.
Property subject to business personal property taxes include the furniture, fixtures, and equipment owned and used in business and accommodation type properties, not primary residence.
Property owners who have questions about filing business personal property taxes and the e-file e-form PR-26 can call the Horry County Auditor’s Office Business Personal Property Division at (843) 915-5054.

Conway, South Carolina (February 18, 2020)—The Horry County Auditor’s Office will be mailing Forms PR-26 and the general information for filing next week on Friday, February 28, 2020, to business and property owners who are subject to the business personal property taxes in Horry County. E-filing form PR-26 is open now at https://www.horrycounty.org/Departments/Auditor.
The online system, launched in 2018, is more efficient both for taxpayers and for staff in the Auditor’s Office in processing approximately 85,000 returns.
