Conway, South Carolina – In preparation for the anticipated winter storm, all Horry County Government offices including all Horry County Memorial Libraries, all courts (Family Court, Circuit Court, and Magistrate courts), the Horry County Museum, and the Horry County Community Centers will be closing today at noon. Public Safety operations will continue on a normal schedule.
The Myrtle Beach International Airport will remain operational unless conditions warrant otherwise.

Conway, South Carolina –The Horry County Emergency Management Department is monitoring the winter weather conditions that are possible for our area. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch effective from 6 a.m. Wednesday morning through 6 a.m. Thursday morning. Anticipated impacts include heavy mixed precipitation (snow and/or ice) for portions of northeast South Carolina and southeast North Carolina.

Conway, South Carolina –The Horry County Emergency Management Department continues to monitor this weekend’s winter weather. The National Weather Service is predicting cold rain moving into Horry County late this afternoon and evening with a potential of it turning into a wintry mix early Saturday morning/afternoon for coastal and inland areas. The highest chance of winter weather remains farther inland into South Carolina, although very cold temperatures will impact the entire area over the weekend.
